The Global Security and Religion Division (Ikeuchi Laboratory) launched the ROLES (RCAST Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies) initiative in 2020, proposing a new model for foreign policy and security think tanks.
This symposium marks the fifth anniversary of ROLES and looks back on its journey over the past five years. Speakers from both established and emerging think tanks, as well as relevant government agencies, will gather to explore the future of diplomacy and security think tanks.
