Inclusive Academia Project

Toward an inclusive campus where “no one is left behind” (Only held online)

Overview

Until now, minorities such as people with disabilities have rarely been the subjects of research, even though they are sometimes considered as such. This project aims to propose and implement a university design from the viewpoint of people with disabilities and other various difficulties, from both the “Structure” (institutional and physical environment) and “Culture” (customs and attitudes based on people's values) of a university organization, in order to realize an academy that is inclusive of diverse people. The objective of this project is to propose and implement a design for the university from the viewpoint of people with various difficulties such as disabilities.
