Environment and Energy

Next-generation photovoltaics tapping the future of energy utilization

Overview

The Segawa Laboratory conducts research on perovskite solar cells, new materials and various next-generation solar cells that utilise new structures. Perovskite solar cells are the solar cells of the future, with the potential for new applications such as factory roofs and building walls, where it has been difficult to install conventional solar cells, due to their thin film, light weight and flexibility, as well as their ability to achieve high efficiency. These next-generation solar cells will be exhibited and introduced with panels and videos.
(The space in front of the exhibition will be made wider to allow wheelchairs to pass through.)
