Advanced Art Design Exhibition

Overview

Building 1 of the University of Tokyo's Institute of Advanced Study is located to the left of the main campus gate towards the clock tower (Building 13) and houses a wind tunnel laboratory, a very important building in the history of Japanese engineering, which was completed in 1930. A special gallery space has been set up in this building to introduce the forefront of a wide variety of projects carried out in industry-academia collaboration between leading Japanese companies and the field of advanced art and design.
