Deciphering the past, present, and future of the Earth and environment from isotopes
Overview
Our research focuses on isotope geochemistry and environmental chemistry, aiming to understand the formation and evolution of Earth that led to the current state of our planet. We analyze the concentrations and isotopic ratios of highly volatile elements, including noble gases, found in meteorites and rocks or minerals originating from the Earth's deep interior.
In particular, our goal is to uncover the origins and circulation processes of water, the vital substance that makes Earth a planet of life.
