Next-generation photovoltaics tapping the future of energy utilization
Overview
At the Segawa Laboratory, we are conducting research on various next-generation solar cells that utilize new materials and structures, including perovskite solar cells.
Perovskite solar cells are a promising technology for the future—they offer high efficiency while being thin, lightweight, and flexible. These characteristics open up new possibilities for applications where traditional solar panels are difficult to install, such as on factory rooftops or building facades.
Our exhibit will showcase these next-generation solar cells through informative panels and videos.
